Youth Program Information
Our students at Concord Street are extraordinary people. Our teenagers come from all different backgrounds and truly embrace the unity of Christ. Our mission for our students at Concord Street Church of Christ is simple: love God, love people. After all, these are the two greatest commands.

UPLIFT REGISTRATION!!!!!!!!!
UPLIFT is our annual trip to Searcy, Arkansas to visit Harding University. This week is jam packed with great speakers, classes, and fellowship. We will leave the church on June 25 and return to Orlando on July 4. Sign up outside of Kenny's office. If you haven't turned in the money or the forms, you need to do so NOW, or the registration period will close soon. Make sure you get everything filled out so that you can go to UPLIFT.
Camp Scholarships are Available
If there are any members of the Concord Street Church of Christ that are need of a scholarship for summer camp, please see Kenny. There is an application form that must be filled out, and all scholarships are on a NEED basis. We want everyone to be able to enjoy summer camp at CFBC, so we want to do all we can to help with that!

Weekly Activities:
Sunday Morning Bible Study - starting at 9am, our current study is structured around the Parables of Jesus.
Sunday Morning Worship - starting at 10:10 am, our youth join with the rest of the congregation to worship, remember Christ, and learn more about our Creator. Our young men regularly participate in the services.
Wednesday Night Bible Study - beginning at 7pm, our current study is themed: Explosive Love. In this study we are exploring the book of Ruth, and what true love is all about, in every aspect of our lives.
Monthly Activities :
Pierce My Ear - once per month service project aimed towards the elderly of our church and the lost of the world. (see Exodus 21 for reference)
Friday Night at the Building - once per month movie/game night fulfilling the Christian need for fellowship.
Sunday night devotionals - after services on the first Sunday of each month, we join together for a short time of singing and devotional.
Lads to Leaders - we usually meet during Sunday night services. Lads to Leaders is a program aimed at teaching our young people of all ages to be leaders in their schools, their families, and in their churches.
Yearly Activities:
CYC - Challenge Youth Conference is our annual trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee! Here, our students are given thought provoking messages and participate in great worship while surrounded by thousands of other Christian teenagers. We also use this trip to hit the slopes and do some skiing! (February) www.cyconline.com
UPLIFT : UPLIFT @ Harding University is one of our students' favorite trips! If they can make it through the 15 hour bus ride, they are given the camp experience of a lifetime! Our students are introduced to Christian education and are allowed to live the college life for a week! During the mornings and afternoons, our teens are given great messages, Christian entertainment, and heartfelt worship. This is one you won't want to miss! (June/July) uplift2009.org
SonQuest - SonQuest is our annual youth rally in Orlando, FL. Surrounded by around 1,500 other Christian teenagers, our youth are presented with great speakers, quality Encounter sessions (small class setting), and some awesome praise and worship time.SonQuest takes place every Labor Day weekend. www.sonquest.com
CFBC - The Central Florida Bible Camp, located in Eustis, FL, is one of the greatest tools that the Churches of Christ have around. All of our students are encouraged to attend at least a week of camp during the summer. Traditionally, our students attend Middle School Week, Teen Week, or Clark Week (formerly Weaver/Barker week). Each week of camp presents students with an awesome challenge for spiritual growth.(Summer) www.cfbiblecamp.org
